Heho-Loikaw-Heho

Loikaw is the capital of Kayah State in Myanmar. It is located in the Karen Hills area, near the State’s northern tip, just above an embayment on the Pilu River. The inhabitants are mostly Kayah. Myanmar’s largest hydropower plant built is located about 20 km east of Loikaw at Lawpita Falls.

DAY 01

5-hour drive to LOIKAW. Departure by road and join Loikaw's town. Lunch will take at the local restaurant. On the way, visit the cave of Myin-ma-Hti, then continue to the village of Pin-Laung and stop for the visit, then drive to Loikaw, and on the road, visit the communities where we will discover the agricultural activities and rural areas of the region, and we will be able to take pictures of the landscapes. Late evening, arrival at Loikaw.

DAY 02

LOIKAW

Breakfast. Departure to ThiriMingalar market, the biggest market of the rural, then we will visit the monastery Poppar Yone which houses about 400 monks to observe the morning prayer and then their lunch on a picnic. Then visit the palace Hawgyi remains of the last ruler of the state Kandayawadi) which was transformed into a monastery and now bears the name of ThirimingalarPone. Visit the National Museum to observe the traditional costume of the tribes living in this state.

DAY 03

LOIKAW

Breakfast. Departure by car and then meet then giraffe women. After a journey of 1:40 we will arrive in the village to meet the ethnic Pa Dhaing known for their Giraffe Women: "tribe of long necks" that carry neck and legs bronze rings. We will then take the road to LOIKAW: Then stop at the village of Chikae to enjoy the incredible work of TakonDhaing. Then, lunch at the way and visit the weaving factory where we produce the costume of the Kayah. In the late afternoon, visit TaungKweZedi, pagoda perched on a mountain in the centre of LOIKAW which offers an exceptional panorama of the city. We will enjoy the beautiful spectacle of the sunset.

DAY 04

LOIKAW

PHEKHONE

INLE (SAGAR)

Breakfast. Visit, to begin with, the village of Kyae San pya Pala daily life of the villagers as well as a daily market. Continuation to KalatMya Hill. Moreover, for PheKhone. Upon arrival at PheKhone Pier, we will take the boat to cross the lake for 6 hours. Visit the ThaKaung Pagoda, then visit a weaving workshop where traditional costumes produce with the lotus plant, silk and cotton. Lunch at the local restaurant.

Return to the Inle Lake Hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 04

INLE

HEHO

YANGON

Breakfast. Transfer by road to Heho and flight to Yangon.
